background: ZNF79 (Zinc finger protein 79), also known as ZNFpT7 or pT7, is a 498 amino acid member of the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc finger protein family and is thought to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Localized to the nucleus, ZNF79 contains one KRAB domain and 11 C2H2-type zinc fingers through which it may convey DNA, RNA and protein binding capabilities. Function: May be involved in transcriptional regulation. Subcellular Location: Nucleus (Potential). Similarity: Belongs to the krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. Contains 11 C2H2-type zinc fingers. Contains 1 KRAB domain.
