Constant region of immunoglobulin light chains. Immunoglobulins, also known as antibodies, are membrane-bound or secreted glycoproteins produced by B lymphocytes. In the recognition phase of humoral immunity, the membrane-bound immunoglobulins serve as receptors which, upon binding of a specific antigen, trigger the clonal expansion and differentiation of B lymphocytes into immunoglobulins-secreting plasma cells. Secreted immunoglobulins mediate the effector phase of humoral immunity, which results in the elimination of bound antigens 该抗体特异识别人免疫球蛋白κ轻链，可用于鉴定白血病、浆细胞瘤以及某些非霍奇金氏淋巴瘤。这些肿瘤的共同特征是只限于单个轻链的表达，因此轻链Kappa和Lamda可用于良恶性淋巴病变（反应性淋巴细胞增生和淋巴瘤）的辅助性诊断。 |
