This gene encodes an intracellular F-actin binding protein. The protein is expressed in lymphocytes, neutrophils, macrophages, and endothelium and may regulate neutrophil motility, adhesion to fibrinogen matrix proteins, and transendothelial migration. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008] Function: May play a role in mediating neutrophil activation and chemotaxis (By similarity). Subunit: Binds actin. Subcellular Location: Cell membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Cytoplasmic side. Tissue Specificity: Activated T-lymphocytes. Post-translational modifications: Phosphorylated by casein kinase II, protein kinase C and MAPKAPK2. Phosphorylation by PKC induces translocation from membrane to cytoplasm. Phosphorylation by MAPKAPK2 may regulate neutrophil chemotaxis (By similarity). Antigen retrieval: citrate buffer ( 0.01M, pH 6.0 ), Boiling bathing for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% Hydrogen peroxide for 30min; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum,C-0005) at 37℃ for 20 min;
Incubation: Anti-LSP1 Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated(bs-5154R) 1:200, overnight at 4°C, followed by conjugation to the secondary antibody(SP-0023) and DAB(C-0010) staining
