The Maspin protein is a sour depressant of nenzyme of a kind of silk ammonia that represses the tumor, is the sour depressant of protei nenzyme one member within super household of the silk ammonia, it is in repress the tumor growth and transfer exertive certain function. Function: Tumor suppressor. It blocks the growth, invasion, and metastatic properties of mammary tumors. As it does not undergo the S (stressed) to R (relaxed) conformational transition characteristic of active serpins, it exhibits no serine protease inhibitory activity. Subunit: Interacts with IRF6.
