ANGPTL2/ANG-2 (Angiopoietin-like Protein 2) Induces sprouting in endothelial cells through an autocrine and paracrine action. [Subcellular location] Secreted. [Tissue specificity] Widely expressed in heart, small intestine, spleen and stomach. Also found in lower levels in colon, ovary, adrenal gland, skeletal muscle and in prostate. [PTM] N-glycosylated. [Similarity] Contains 1 fibrinogen C-terminal domain. ANGPTL2/ANG-2 (Angiopoietin-like Protein 2). Function: Induces sprouting in endothelial cells through an autocrine and paracrine action. Paraformaldehyde-fixed, paraffin embedded (Human uterine muscle); Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH6.0) for 15min; Block endogenous peroxidase by 3% hydrogen peroxide for 20 minutes; Blocking buffer (normal goat serum) at 37°C for 30min; Antibody incubation with (Angptl2) Polyclonal Antibody, Unconjugated (bs-0537R) at 1:200 overnight at 4°C, followed by operating according to SP Kit(Rabbit) (sp-0023) instructionsand DAB staining.
